I would like to travel this summer. I have so much to do with my house (repairs, painting, deep cleaning, etc.), but relaxing on a beach is just what I need. My health has been up and down the entire school year.
The beginning of the year was fabulous. I hadn't felt that good in years. It didn't last for long, but I was able to successfully finish 10 hours of graduate school credits. I even went to an amazing wedding in Florida. I had the time of my life!!
I will definitely return to Florida, Lord willing, but I would also like to see Colorado again, maybe even visit mi familia in Los Angeles. I must be healthy to accomplish all this. Going to do everything in my power to do so.
January, February, and March have been a challenge. April started off rocky, but my doctor has a plan. Praying it works. Life is short. I want to enjoy it while I still can!
Take care,
Monica

Trayvon Martin
Justice for Trayvon Martin. A bag of Skittles and an iced tea are not weapons. Arrest George Zimmerman.
I'm writing you today to call for justice for Trayvon Martin and his family.
Trayvon Martin was only 17 years old when he was gunned down by the Neighborhood Watch captain George Zimmerman. All Trayvon did was go to the store to get his brother some Skittles.
According to police, George Zimmerman admitted to the shooting and killing of Trayvon Martin. Why has he not been charged and his case been handed over to prosecutors?
Trayvon Martin was unarmed when he was shot by Zimmerman. All he had in his hands was some candy when he was followed and approached by Zimmerman - who ignored instructions from police not to confront the young man.
Please uphold justice.
